Here is the Birthday Girl!!! We had a party for Ashlan's birthday on Saturday. The Roushs and the Moglers came and Jade and Amber came. We decorated little totes and made bracelets. The girls had a really good time!! I can't believe my baby is 6 years old!

Job Update!

Well, we may not be unemployed for too much longer. Chris got a job offer from a company called Ryerson. He still needs to pass the background and credit check and the drug test, but hopefully by the 15th of April, he will be employed. This job is an outside sales position for the same territory he covered with PDM. The company is based out of Chicago, but the California office is in Livermore. We are very happy that we won't have to move. At least not right now. We hope to be able to buy a house in the next 6 months. We are praying that everything is going to go smoothly for a little while. We want to thank everyone for keeping us in your prayers. We have felt the comfort and love of all of you and it is very much appreciated. Thank you! Thank you!

Like, Totally Rad!

Okay! I know all parents feel the same when their pre-teen kid asks you to buy them an article of clothing that you thought would NEVER come back into style! Kayleigh just had to have skinny jeans and hightops!!!!! What is the world coming to?!!!!!

We're Back!

We are finally back from SoCal! We love and appreciate my mom for letting us disrupt her peaceful life for a week and a half! Chris and his sister got things done that needed both of them. We had to get home so that Chris could be to an interview on Tuesday. We are hoping this is the one! It would allow us to sty where we are! We also have Cameron's 1st Blue and Gold dinner on Tuesday night. I'll get some pictures of that up on Wednesday. We just wanted to thank everyone that has kept us in their prayers and given us support. We truly do appreciate it.

Pinewood Derby

Here is Cameron getting ready for his first Pinewood Derby. I wish I had more pictures, but my batteries died right after we got there. He was so excited for everything involved with making this car. Chris helped him cut the car into the shape he wanted. He was a little afraid of the saw, but soon he was a pro at it. He decorated the car all by himself, paint, decals and all! On Tuesday, I'll get a picture of him with his awards. He won awards for "Most Decals" and "Fastest Car in the Pack". We are so proud that he did the work by himself. We know the sometimes the dads can get a little carried away, but we were trying to teach him the importance of doing it himself.

Up in The Air

Well, things are up in the air here for a while. Chris' mom passed away on Thursday, January 22nd. We are very sad but we know she was ready to go. We will be going to to be with the family in the near future. To add insult to injury, Chris's position at PDM was terminated. Officially he was laid off on Monday. We are doing okay, a little nervous, but okay. Thank you Andrea and Chene for all the support. Andrea came up and spent the day with me today, to get my mind off of what happened. I soooooo needed that. I'd been crying too much and I needed a break. Chris does have an interview with a company in Benicia, which is in the Bay Area. He leaves tomorrow morning at 9 for a 1 o'clock interview. Keep your fingers crossed! More info to come. We don't know what will be happening in the next couple of days, but I'll try to post updates.
