Here's what we found on the front porch this afternoon. It wasn't there when we got home at about 1:30pm, but it was there at about 4:30pm. The county won't even pick it up until tomorrow. I hope the turkey vultures don't find it before then!
They finally showed up this afternoon. But not before it was bloated and smelly. It attracted any and all flies and yellowjackets around. I'm glad nobody stopped by for a visit!!! I'm glad it's gone!!!

How sad! :(
How did that happen? And what do you do with a dead dear on your porch! :) Good luck!
We don't have any clues as to how it happened. It's very sad! Now we wait for the county to come and pick it up!
That stinks. I bet the kids thought it was cool too see. Amazing that they won't come until a day later. Can you keep the meat?
I don't think we get to keep the meat. Chris thought that he might like to.
what the heck?! how random!!!
I guess waiting a day is better then them not picking it up at all..
