Elephant Shaped Card

Ok, so I'm trying to challenge myself in the card making arena. I have been stamping with my good friend Laura, who sent me a link to a website that does challenges. This challenge was OLW87 – Think Outside the Box. I had to make a one-layer card, that was not a square or rectangle. I drew this elephant for a different card, but thought I could use it for this challenge!! I used a piece of scrap patterned paper, SU Cherry Cobbler stamp pad to sponge the ear, and the SU Cherry Cobbler marker to add the eye and write "baby".

What a great shaped card;love the polka dots. It reminds me of a children's book where the elephant was patchwork-I just can't remember the name of the book.
