PARTY!!!!

After Ashlan's baptism, we had the Moglers and Coons over for dinner and cupcakes!!! We feasted on teriyaki sticks, chicken long rice, potato salad, and lots of other good munchies!!! After dinner Ashlan opened her presents and we had cupcakes!! YUMMY! We are so grateful to have friends that take the time to support us! Thank you guys!!!!! We had a blast with you all!!!!

Saturday was a very special day for us! Ashlan was baptized!!! Our stake does baptisms once a month for the kids who turn 8 during the month. Luckily for us, that day fell on the weekend of Ashlan's birthday. She and one other girl, Sophie, from our previous ward were baptized on the same day!! It reminded me of my baptism when my best friend, Becky, and I were baptized on the same day!!! Thanks to the Moglers, who had a busy, problematic day, for coming up to share this day with us!! And a special thank you to Chene who gave a talk on the Holy Ghost!!! Thanks to the Coon family for coming too!! Also a special thanks to Jesse Nicholai and Jimmy Nore for helping with the confirmation!!We are so lucky to count these families as our friends!!! We are so proud of you Ashlan and so is your Heavenly Father!

Ashlan turns 8!!!

I can't believe how fast time goes by. My baby turned 8 on the 6th of April!!! Ashlan is a wonderful person and we love her very much. She is a crack up and makes us laugh just about everyday. She has a crazy sense of humor and is very quick-witted. She can tease with the best of them(her dad, Uncle Harry, Uncle Pete, Uncle Michael, and Uncle Spencer)!!! She is an amazing student and loves all subjects in school. She is going to be a great gymnast, too!!  On her birthday, mom and I took her shopping with us and then out to lunch! We had a really fun time!!!
