Let It Snow!!

I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving!! Mine was as stress-free as they come!! No cooking or cleaning!!! I loved going out to eat!!! I got my inspiration today from the Just Us Girls challenge. One layer cards are not easy for me to do. I always want to add more!! I took some Post-It paper and cut out the PTI Mat Stack 4 and adhered it to the card front. I then laid my stencil down and sprayed the color shine. After I removed the stencil and die, I adhered the negative die image and used my Tim Holtz blending tool to add color and definition to the space where the Post-It paper was.

Love this!

I got to play with my stamps today!! Hooray!! I combined two challenges today!  The first was Free 4 All Friday on SplitCoast Stampers  and the second was the Cas-ual Fridays challenge. The Free 4 All challenge was to use a heart and the Cas-ual Friday challenge was to use 8 of something. So, I stamped 8 hearts!!

Squirrel!!!

I had a pretty bad week last week. Nothing major, just me getting tired of single parenthood when I'm not a single parent. I guess that is what happens when your hubby works the graveyard shift. Anyways...I'm over it now. I did need to make some cards this afternoon to help de-stress. I fell in love with the Easily Distracted stamp set  from Sweet Stamp Shop!! So cute!! I paired it with the stamp set from my October card kit from Simon Says Stamp, Giving Thanks. I decided to play along with the Mojo Monday challenge today! It was an easy layout to work with!!

Holiday Happiness

Today my card was inspired by the colors from the Merry Monday challenge!! I thought these were beautiful colors together!! I cut out some circles from the Post-It Craft Paper and adhered them to the aqua paper then sprayed the Color Shine.

You're Amazing!!

I have been busy the last 2 weeks!! Ashlan competed and I worked our home meet for gymnastics last weekend, her last regular season meet was Friday night, parent/teacher conferences were this week, and Saturday was my anniversary. I've been married to my honey for 17 years now. It's amazing how time flies!! To add to it, my fridge/freezer died yesterday. BOOOOOO!! So my honey and I are heading out to look at one that someone posted on craigslist. Hopefully we can get the price down just a little.
Anyways!! I got to play with my stamps again this morning!! Yippee!!! I am really loving the set from my Simon Say Stamp November Card Kit, Love This!! It is very versatile!! I played along with the Seize the Sketch challenge today. I loved the clean and simple design!!

Jack-O-Lantern

I just bought a new stamp set this past weekend. I love Halloween cards, but I'm not fond of most Halloween stamps. They are either too cutesy or too weird. I found a set that called to me. It is a perfect set for me! I played along with The Paper Players challenge. I thought this Jack-o-Lantern was perfect for the sketch!!

I love October!! Fall colors, autumn smells, cool mornings, and Halloween!! I also get to make cards for Breast Cancer Awareness month! I love being able to give encouragement to women battling breast cancer!

Ribbon Dress

So here in another one for the HYCCT challenge. This time I played the "Flat is Fabulous" challenge. This challenge was to create a flat card with 1 or 2 layers. I really had to control myself here. I am a layer and pop dot kind of girl!! I added some glitter glue to the ribbons on the skirt to make them sparkle a little!!

Hope Shirt

As I was looking through the card challenges for today, I came across a fun one! Split Coast Stampers has a Friday challenge called Free For All. Today's challenge referred up to another challenge that they have going, Hope You Can Cling To (HYCCT). Go check it out!! It is a very worthy cause!! I decided to play along with the "Inner Strength" Challenge. The challenge was to have some sort of dimensional on the inside of the card that could be seen from the outside of the card. I popped the t-shirt on the inside of the card with it popping out where I die cut a spot on the front of the card.
